These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, digital content, virtual sessions, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”) offered by The Change Lab (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access and use our Services. By using the Services, you affirm that you are of legal age and fully able to enter into this agreement.

2. Services and Content

The Change Lab provides facilitated virtual sessions, leadership development programming, written materials, and other content intended for professional and personal growth. All content made available through the Services—including text, graphics, videos, guides, practices, prompts, and music playlists—is owned by or licensed to The Change Lab and is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

3. Registration and Account Responsibility

Some Services may require registration. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for any activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, please notify us immediately.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

Certain offerings, such as training series, facilitated labs, or downloadable materials, may require payment. Fees and payment terms will be communicated at the point of purchase.

5. Code of Conduct

By participating in The Change Lab community or sessions, you agree to:

  • Show respect for others’ experiences, perspectives, and privacy

  • Engage in a spirit of inquiry, curiosity, and nonjudgment

  • Avoid harmful, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior

We reserve the right to remove participants from sessions or programs without refund if behavior is inconsistent with our values of psychological safety and mutual respect.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content associated with The Change Lab—including The Mindful Method™ framework—are the intellectual property of The Change Lab or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership or license to use any of our intellectual property without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only. While our sessions are grounded in neuroscience, psychology, and best practices in leadership and wellbeing, they are not a substitute for clinical mental health support or medical advice.

We do not guarantee any specific outcomes as a result of participating in our Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Change Lab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services. Your sole remedy is to discontinue using the Services.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make significant changes, we will notify users by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
